1/2 cup sour cream
1 1/2 cups diced apples
For the Crumb Topping:
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch square pan or line it with parchment paper.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients in batches, alternating with sour cream. Gently fold in diced apples.
