Ingredients

  • Jumbo pasta shells
  • Ricotta cheese
  • Mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • Egg
  • Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • Marinara sauce
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil (optional for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Fill each cooked shell with the cheese mixture and arrange them in the baking dish.
  6. Top the shells with remaining marinara sauce and sprinkle with additional mozzarella and Parmesan.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
