Ingredients
Scale
1 lb ground beef
12 oz rotini pasta
3 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 cups whole milk
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Cook rotini pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Whisk in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes. Gradually add milk, whisking constantly to avoid lumps.
Stir in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and paprika. Cook until sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
Add cooked beef and rotini to the skillet. Toss until well coated in the sauce.
Adjust seasoning if needed and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve warm.
Notes
For extra creaminess, add a splash of heavy cream to the sauce.
Substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
