  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 8 large flour tortillas
  • Optional: salsa, sour cream, guacamole

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and bell pepper, sauté until softened.
  • Add ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Stir in chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Place one tortilla on a clean surface. Add a layer of beef mixture and sprinkle with cheese. Top with another tortilla.
  • Heat a clean skillet over medium heat. Cook the quesadilla on each side until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
