2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
¾ cup warm milk
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 egg + 1 egg yolk
¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
3 cups all-purpose flour

For the Filling:
½ cup brown sugar
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger
½ tsp ground cardamom
¼ tsp ground cloves
¼ tsp ground nutmeg
¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
For the Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
1–2 tbsp milk
½ tsp vanilla extract
Activate yeast in warm milk for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
Mix in sugar, egg, yolk, and melted butter.
Gradually add flour and salt. Knead until dough is smooth.
Let rise for 1 hour until doubled.
