  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup

  • 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • In a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, spread shredded chicken evenly on the bottom.
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, melted butter, milk, salt, and pepper to create the dumpling batter. Pour over the chicken, but do not stir.
  • In another bowl, combine chicken broth and cream of chicken soup. Carefully pour this mixture over the dumpling layer.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbly.
  • Garnish with parsley if desired, and serve warm.

  • For added flavor, mix in sautéed vegetables like carrots, celery, and peas.
