  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup small curd cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green peppers
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook the egg noodles according to package directions; drain.
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in tomato sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • In a separate bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and cottage cheese.
  • Mix cooked noodles with the cheese mixture.
  • In a greased casserole dish, layer half the noodle mixture, then the beef mixture, followed by the remaining noodles.
