Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 slider buns
  • 2 cups cooked turkey (shredded or sliced)
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 6 slices of Swiss cheese (halved)
  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Layer the turkey evenly over the buns, then spread cranberry sauce on top.
  • Place the Swiss cheese slices over the cranberry sauce, then cover with the top halves of the buns.
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, Dijon mustard, honey, and garlic powder. Brush this mixture over the buns and sprinkle with poppy seeds, if desired.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 5 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Great use for Thanksgiving turkey leftovers!
  • Swap Swiss cheese with cheddar or provolone for a different flavor.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven for the best texture.
