  • 8 oz medium pasta shells
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook pasta shells according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add diced onion and garlic; cook until soft.
  • Stir in marinara sauce, beef broth, and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer.
  • Mix in the cooked pasta shells and cheddar cheese. Stir until cheese is melted and sauce thickens.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.

Notes

For extra creaminess, add more cheese or heavy cream. You can also use ground turkey or chicken as a substitute for beef.
