Ingredients

Scale
  • 2025 jumbo pasta shells

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 cup ricotta cheese

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 egg

  • 2 cups marinara sauce

  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Cook pasta shells according to package instructions; drain and set aside.

  3. In a skillet, cook ground beef with garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until browned. Drain excess fat.

  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta, half the mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, and cooked beef.

  5. Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.

  6. Stuff each shell with the beef and ricotta mixture and place in the baking dish.

  7. Top stuffed shells with remaining marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.

  8. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly.

  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey or sausage for beef if preferred.

  • Add spinach or sautéed mushrooms for an extra veggie boost.

  • Use homemade marinara for an even richer flavor.
