Croissant breakfast sandwiches feature flaky croissants, fluffy eggs, ham, and cheese for a perfect morning meal. Ideal for brunch or a quick breakfast, these sandwiches are savory, cheesy, and easy to make. Perfect for on-the-go breakfasts or a relaxing weekend brunch.

Ingredients

  • 4 croissants, sliced in half
  • 8 eggs
  • ¼ cup whole milk
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ cup shredded cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 pound thinly sliced ham
  • 4 slices American cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  • Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add egg mixture and scramble until just set.
  • Slice croissants in half and place on the baking sheet.
  • Spread Dijon mustard on the bottom half of each croissant.
  • Layer ham, scrambled eggs, shredded cheese, and a slice of American cheese on each croissant.
  • Top with the other half of the croissant.
  • Melt remaining butter and mix with brown sugar. Brush the tops of the croissants.
  • Bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and croissants are crispy.
  • Serve hot.

Notes

  • For added flavor, try adding sliced tomatoes or avocado.
  • Can substitute ham with bacon or sausage.
  • Use any preferred cheese type.
