This easy broccoli salad recipe is a fresh, flavorful side dish made with simple ingredients like crisp broccoli, bacon, red onion, and a creamy dressing. Perfect for potlucks, barbecues, or a light lunch, this healthy and quick salad is packed with crunch and flavor!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets

  • 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped

  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds or sliced almonds (optional)

  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries or raisins

For the Dressing:

  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon honey (or sugar)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine broccoli, red onion, bacon, cheese, seeds/nuts, and dried cranberries.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper.

  3. Pour dressing over broccoli mixture and toss until evenly coated.

  4. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.

Notes

  • You can substitute Greek yogurt for half of the mayo for a lighter version.

  • Make ahead and store in the fridge up to 3 days.
