  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (for glaze)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (for glaze)
  • 1 tsp mustard (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, bell pepper, crushed Ritz crackers, eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan or shape it into a loaf on a baking sheet.
  4. In a small bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard to create the glaze. Spread half of the glaze over the meatloaf.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes, then spread the remaining glaze on top.
  6. Bake for another 30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  7. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
