This easy seafood casserole recipe is a creamy, comforting dish loaded with shrimp, crab, and white fish. Perfect for seafood lovers, this simple yet delicious recipe is made with a cheesy, savory sauce and baked to golden perfection. Great for weeknight dinners or special occasions!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)

  • 1/2 lb crab meat (lump or imitation)

  • 1/2 lb white fish fillets (like cod or tilapia), cut into chunks

  • 1 cup cooked rice or pasta (optional)

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

  • 2 tbsp melted butter

  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • In a skillet, sauté onion and garlic until soft. Add shrimp and fish, cook for 2–3 minutes.

  • In a large bowl, combine cooked seafood, crab, soup, sour cream, mayo, cheese, and seasonings.

  • Stir in rice or pasta if using. Pour mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.

  • In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over casserole.

  • Bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.

 

  • Garnish with parsley if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can use frozen seafood; just thaw and drain well before using.

  • Swap cream of mushroom for cream of celery or cream of shrimp for a twist.

 

  • Add peas or spinach for extra veggies.
