Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground chicken

  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1 egg

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped

  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

  • Tzatziki sauce (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, onion, dill, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  3. Form mixture into small meatballs (about 1 inch diameter).

  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown meatballs for 2-3 minutes on each side.

  5. Transfer browned meatballs to a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until fully cooked.

  6. Serve with lemon wedges and tzatziki sauce.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a bit of crumbled feta to the mixture.

  • You can fully bake the meatballs instead of pan-searing.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
