Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe mangoes (peeled, pitted, and chopped)

  • 4 cups water

  • 2 black tea bags

  • 23 tbsp honey or sugar (adjust to taste)

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)

  • Ice cubes

  • Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil the Water: In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.

  2. Steep the Tea: Remove from heat and add black tea bags. Steep for 5–7 minutes. Remove the tea bags and let it cool.

  3. Prepare Mango Puree: In a blender, add chopped mango and blend until smooth.

  4. Sweeten: Add honey or sugar and lemon juice to the mango puree and blend again until combined.

  5. Combine: Mix the cooled tea with the mango mixture in a large pitcher. Stir well.

  6. Chill: Refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours.

  7. Serve: Pour over ice, garnish with mint leaves, and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can use green tea instead of black tea for a lighter flavor.

  • Adjust sweetness based on the ripeness of the mango.

  • Strain the mango puree for a smoother texture.
