Impossible Taco Pie is a simple and flavorful dish made with ground beef, taco seasoning, cheese, and Bisquick. This crustless taco-inspired pie bakes into a deliciously hearty meal perfect for weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup Bisquick mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a 9-inch pie plate.
  • In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until beef is browned; drain excess fat.
  • Stir in taco seasoning and mix well. Spread beef mixture evenly in the pie plate.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the beef.
  • In a bowl, whisk together Bisquick, milk, eggs, salt, and pepper until smooth. Pour over the beef mixture.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Top with sour cream, salsa, or avocado for extra flavor.
  • Use ground turkey or chicken as a beef alternative.
  • Add diced jalapeños for a spicy kick.
