For the Chicken:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • ½ cup chicken broth

For the Parmesan Linguine:

 

  • 8 oz linguine
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ cup chopped parsley

Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken: Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add lemon juice and chicken broth, scraping up browned bits. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Return chicken to the pan, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes until cooked through.
  • Cook the Linguine: Boil linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a pan, melt butter, add heavy cream, and stir in Parmesan cheese. Cook until smooth. Add lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
  • Toss cooked linguine in the sauce, ensuring it's evenly coated.

 

  • Serve the chicken over the parmesan linguine, garnished with parsley.
