Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 cups elbow macaroni
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
2 cups milk (for cheese sauce)
1 tsp mustard powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, salt, and pepper.
Press the meatloaf mixture into a greased baking dish.
Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a saucepan, melt butter, add flour, and stir to create a roux. Gradually whisk in milk, mustard powder, and garlic powder until thickened.
Stir in cheese until melted and smooth.
Combine cooked macaroni with the cheese sauce.
Spread the mac and cheese mixture on top of the meatloaf.
Bake for 35-40 minutes or until meatloaf is cooked through and the top is golden.
Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
