  • 3 cups cooked chicken (shredded)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 sleeve Ritz crackers (crushed)
  • ¼ cup butter (melted)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix softened cream cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
  • Fold in shredded chicken and half of the shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13-inch casserole dish.
  • Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
  • In a small bowl, combine crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter and spread evenly over the casserole.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.
  • Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute cottage cheese with ricotta if preferred.
  • For added flavor, sprinkle with fresh parsley or green onions.
