  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, melt butter and sauté onions and garlic until soft.
  • Add ground beef, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in marinara sauce, season with salt and pepper, and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cottage cheese, ricotta cheese, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Mix until smooth.
  • In a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, spread half of the cooked spaghetti. Top with the cheese mixture.
  • Layer the remaining spaghetti on top, followed by the meat sauce.
  • Sprinkle the rest of the mozzarella cheese and Parmesan on top.
  • Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For extra richness, substitute cottage cheese with sour cream.
  • You can prepare this dish ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to bake.
