Paula Deen's 5 Minute Fudge is a delightful, quick recipe featuring semi-sweet chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, and optional pecans. This easy fudge is perfect for satisfying your sweet cravings in no time.

Ingredients

  • 1 ⅔ cups of granulated sugar
  • ⅔ cup of evaporated milk
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 1 (6-oz) bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups of mini marshmallows
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • ½ cup of chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  • Combine sugar, evaporated milk, butter, and salt in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  • Boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips, marshmallows, vanilla extract, and pecans (if using).
  • Continue stirring until everything is melted and smooth.
  • Pour into a greased 8x8-inch pan.
  • Let cool, then cut into squares and serve.
