These Philly cheesesteak sliders are a mouthwatering twist on the classic sandwich, featuring tender steak, sautéed bell peppers and onions, and melted provolone cheese on soft slider buns. Easy to make and perfect for parties, game days, or a delicious family dinner!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 lb thinly sliced beef steak (ribeye or sirloin works best)
  • 1 green bell pepper (thinly sliced)
  • 1 small onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1 cup provolone cheese (sliced or shredded)
  • 4 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sauté the steak until fully cooked, seasoning with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté the bell peppers and onions until soft.
  • Slice slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Evenly spread the cooked steak over the buns, followed by the sautéed vegetables.
  • Add a layer of provolone cheese over the veggies, then place the top halves of the buns over everything.
  • Brush melted butter over the tops of the buns.
  • Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 5 minutes until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Substitute provolone with mozzarella or American cheese for a different flavor.
  • Add mushrooms for extra veggies or spice things up with jalapeños.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator and reheat in the oven for the best texture.
