  • 1 large round bread loaf (sourdough or similar)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and chopped

  • 1/2 lb lump crab meat

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Cut the top off the bread loaf and hollow out the center to create a bowl. Set aside.

  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onion and garlic until soft.

  4. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in crab meat.

  5. Lower heat and mix in cream, cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, lemon juice, and Old Bay seasoning. Stir until smooth.

  6. Season with salt and pepper.

  7. Fill the bread bowl with the seafood mixture. Place on a baking sheet.

  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.

  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
