This Easy Creamy Marry Me Chicken recipe is a one-pan wonder with tender chicken breasts in a creamy sun-dried tomato sauce, perfect for date nights or family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for 1 minute. Add chicken broth, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until smooth.
  • Mix in sun-dried tomatoes, oregano, and chili flakes. Simmer the sauce for 3–5 minutes.
  • Return chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over, and cook on low heat for 10–15 minutes until fully cooked.
  • Garnish with fresh basil and serve with pasta, mashed potatoes, or crusty bread.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
  • Add extra Parmesan for a thicker sauce.
  • This dish tastes even better when reheated the next day!
