Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls or soft dinner rolls)
  • 1 lb thinly sliced roast beef
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese (halved)
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise (optional)
  • 2 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp poppy seeds (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice slider buns horizontally and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
  • Spread mayonnaise on the bottom buns (optional). Layer roast beef evenly on top and add cheddar cheese slices. Cover with the top halves of the buns.
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and poppy seeds (if using). Brush this mixture over the tops of the buns.
  • Cover sliders with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted.
  • Slice into individual sliders and serve warm.

Notes

  • Substitute cheddar with Swiss or provolone cheese for a different flavor.
  • Add caramelized onions for extra sweetness and flavor.
  • Perfect to pair with a side of chips, fries, or a green salad.
