These French dip sliders are the ultimate comfort food! Stacked with tender roast beef, melted cheese, and baked to golden perfection on buttery slider buns, they’re served with a flavorful au jus for dipping. Perfect for parties, game day, or a cozy dinner!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 lb deli-style roast beef (thinly sliced)
  • 1 cup Swiss or provolone cheese (sliced or shredded)
  • 4 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds (optional)

For the Au Jus:

  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Evenly layer the roast beef on the buns, followed by the cheese.
  • Place the top halves of the slider buns over the layers of meat and cheese.
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and onion powder. Brush this mixture generously over the tops of the buns. Sprinkle with poppy seeds, if desired.
  • Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 5 minutes until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted.
  • While the sliders bake, prepare the au jus by combining beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder in a small saucepan. Simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  • Serve sliders warm with au jus for dipping.

Notes

  • Swap Swiss cheese for provolone or cheddar if preferred.
  • For extra flavor, sauté onions and layer them with the roast beef.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge and reheated in the oven to retain their texture.
