This Million Dollar Pound Cake recipe is rich, buttery, and dense with a tender crumb. Made with simple ingredients, it's the perfect dessert for holidays, gatherings, or an everyday treat. Serve it plain or with fresh berries and whipped cream for an extra indulgent touch!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 6 large eggs
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • ½ teaspoon almond extract

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt or tube pan.
  • In a large bowl, beat butter until creamy. Gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Alternate adding flour and milk, beginning and ending with flour. Mix just until combined.
  • Stir in vanilla and almond extracts.
  • Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  • Cool in pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

  • For extra moisture, use room-temperature eggs and dairy.
  • Serve with powdered sugar, fresh berries, or whipped cream for added flavor.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days.
