These Sausage Egg and Cheese Breakfast Sliders with Syrup Glaze are the ultimate morning treat.   • 2 packages (12 rolls each) Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
  • 2 packages (16 oz each) Jimmy Dean Sausage (Original flavor)
  • 12-14 large eggs
  • 1 package (11 slices) Great Value Colby Jack Cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter (for glaze)
  • 1/4 cup syrup (for glaze)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain and set aside.
  • Scramble eggs in a bowl, then cook in the same skillet until just set.
  • Slice Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
  • Layer sausage, scrambled eggs, and Colby Jack cheese over the rolls. Top with the other halves of the rolls.
  • In a small bowl, combine melted butter and syrup. Brush the mixture over the top of the rolls.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 10-15 minutes, until cheese is melted and sliders are heated through.
  • Remove foil and bake an additional 5 minutes, until tops are golden brown.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

  • These sliders can be prepared the night before and baked fresh in the morning.
  • Customize by adding vegetables like spinach or bell peppers.
